No Preschoolers Were Corrupted

We can safely acknowledge that playground equipment is most fun when improperly used.
One of the first laws of playground lore is that slides are best when climbed up and swings are best for performing death-defying stunts.
We started out on a walking tour of the neighborhood to get some landscaping ideas for our front yard.

In what can only be described as a major turn of events, the backyard is actually in WAY better shape than the front yard. Which is dead. A LOT dead.

But we got distracted from all the lackluster yards on our tour by a toddler park.

The kids wanted me to take their picture flying out of the swings.

Yeah, the kids.

Then Lilly made me do The Spider. It required a lot more pumping on my part than hers.

{Shield your eyes from the whiteness of our bodies. It's been cold.}

Then Brad had the great idea to do a whale rodeo.

You can see where this is going.

Or not going.

The springs didn't exactly jettison his large(ish) frame like he hoped.

Big man in a little whale.

To preserve his dignity, I won't share how long it took him to climb out. But in his defense, it's a lot harder to get out when you're laughing really hard.
Seeing as the playground is labeled ages 2-7.

This made my day! Course it is only 9:00 a.m. but I am quite sure nothing will top it.
